I have contributed to the new COST ENGAGER report on the current state of the art in energy poverty measurement, overviewing existing knowledge gaps and new approaches
In June 2019, I was invited by the ENABLE.EU project to talk about consumer perspectives, smart meters and measures to bridge the gap between consumer needs and European intentions. My role was to bring the voice of consumers to the table and get back to the essentials, namely that attention to people’ needs and personalised service are essential to enable the development and acceptance of technologies by all and for all.
Egemone Consulting asked me to be the “expert of the month” of January 2019.
In April 2018, the European Commission proposed the so-called “New Deal for Consumers” in order to strengthen EU consumer rights and enforcement. The measures of the New Deal should have an impact on the level of protection and redress for all consumers throughout Europe.
In December 2018, the Mexican Energy Ombudsman asked me to write a special edition of its monthly magazine, focusing on energy consumer protection in Europe:
